The Korean Culture Center of Chicago is preparing a concert that combines Korean traditional and Western classical for a luxurious harmony in music. K-experience ‘Squid Game’

November 6, 2021 The Korean Cultural Center of Chicago held an event K-experience ’Squid Game’ based on one of the most popular K-drama on Netflix. 80 pre-registered participants were divided into 6 groups and had the opportunity to experience a total of 6 games which included ‘Squid Game’, ‘Dalgona Candy’, ‘Marbles’, ‘Ddakji Game ‘, ‘Tug-of-war’, and ‘Red light Green light’. Winners from each game station received Korean snacks as prizes. The main objective for the event was to properly promote these childhood games that were portrayed as being dangerous in the drama. 2021 KCCoC Golf Outing at Chevy Chase Country Club

  The Korean Cultural Center of Chicago fundraising golf tournament was held on Wednesday, October 20th at the Chevy Chase Country Club. Due to current difficult situation, this golf tournament was held in lieu of the annual fundraising dinner event. 시카고한인문화회관 기금마련 골프대회가 Chevy Chase Country Club에서 열렸다. 문화회관에서는 연례 기금마련 만찬을 준비하기 어려운 요즘 상황을 반영하여 골프대회로 대신하여 성황리에 마쳤다.

Season 13 September 24, 2021 Korean Cultural Center of Chicago in partnership with Asian Pop-up Cinema jointly prepared a Korean movie screening which was held at the Event Hall 1 of the Cultural Center. About 30 spectators who received free tickets through pre-registration attended the viewing of the movie “Go Back”, which is one of the films prepared for the Korean Cinema Showcase. The Cultural Center provided a simple lunch for everyone. September 18, 2021 On Saturday, September 18, the Korean Cultural Center of Chicago held a Korean national holiday ‘Hangawi’ event, where more than 120 pre-registered attendees, including, the next generation Koreans, families of local community, and adoptive families enjoyed the Korean holiday culture. The event was promoted through the Chicago Cultural Alliance’s Journey Through Chicago campaign, and DuPage College’s Korean Professor attended with students as well.
