문화회관 청소년 봉사단 봄학기 Feb. 12-May 21, 2022 The Korean Cultural Center of Chicago’s Junior Ambassador, Student Volunteer Program began its spring 2022 service on February 12. Junior Ambassador consists of 12 high school students and will serve for the next 12 weeks. 시카고한인문화회관 학생 봉사단 Junior Ambassador가 2022 봄학기 봉사를 2월 12일에 시작하였다. 이번 봉사단은 중, 고등학생 12명으로 구성되어 앞으로 12주간의 봉사를 하게 된다.

대통령 봉사상 기관 지정 Jan. 26, 2022 The Korean Cultural Center of Chicago was officially designated on January 26, 2022 as the President’s Volunteer service organization, thanks to the efforts and dedication of all of the volunteers over the years. KCCoC will further encourage these opportunities to develop throughout our communities. 시카고한인문화회관이 미국 대통령 봉사상을 주관하는 기관으로 2022년 1월 26일에 공식 지정되었다. 봉사자들의 노고에 감사하는 마음을 전하고, 더 나아가 이런 봉사의 기회들이 지역 커뮤니티를 발전시켜 나가는 원동력이 된다는 것을 격려하고자 한다.

November 30, 2021 The Next-Gen Committee sponsored a soup kitchen volunteering session at the Lincoln Park Community Services center. Members from the group cooked a meal planned by Barbara Chun- roasted cauliflower, herb chicken, corn cake and other great dishes for 40 guests of the center/shelter.
