K-experience: Celebrate Korean Children’s Day!
Children’s Day 100th Year Anniversary To celebrate the 100th year anniversary of Korean Children’s Day, Korean Cultural Center of Chicago held a K-experience event ‘Celebrate Korean Children’s Day!’ on Saturday, May 14 at the Chicago Children’s Museum in Navy Pier. Children participated in various activities such as ddakji making, coloring traditional Korean items, learn to play jegi and yutnori, writing their names in Korean calligraphy, try-on hanbok, learn K-Pop dance, view Korean artifacts and read children’s books by Korean authors.
