The KCCoC celebrated the traditional Hangawi holiday on September 30th with an event titled “Hangawi & Kimchi.” During this event, attendees, including families and friends, gathered at the KCCoC to make traditional kimchi and participate in various cultural activities. Kimchi, Korea’s iconic dish beloved worldwide, is now readily available in Chicago’s markets. The KCCoC’s culinary team, especially for this Hangawi, conducted a pre-event demonstration of kimchi preparation.
