K-experience: Celebrate Children’s Day 2024

The Children’s Day event, ‘Byeol-ju Bu-jeon (The Rabbit’s Liver)’ will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at KCCoC Maru (Multipurpose Event Hall), museum, gallery and the main lobby. 100 pre-registered participants will be divided into groups and will explore varies experiences throughout 8 different stations.
All participants will receive a passport card. Once all of the stations have been completed and the passport has been stamped, a special prize/souvenir will be provided to those that complete all 8 stations.
시카고한인문화회관이 어린이날 행사를 오는 5월 4일에 개최한다. 올해에는 ‘별주부전’을 테마로 자녀와 부모가 함께 즐길 수 있는 행사를 기획하여, 한국의 문화 체험을 통해서 재미는 물론, 한국 문화에 대한 자긍심을 고취시키고자 한다. 사전 등록으로 100명의 어린이들이 행사에 참가하여 구연동화, 판소리, 토끼와 거북이 크래프트, 보물찾기, 전통의상 체험, 포토 부스 등의 스테이션을 모두 체험하도록 한다.
특히 올해에는 문화회관과 파트너 쉽을 가지고 있는 러프 박물관 (Raupp Museum, Buffalo Grove)과 콜스 어린이 박물관 (Kohl’s Children’s Museum, Glenview)이 행사에 함께 참여하며, 박주미 국악교실, 푸르내 크리에이티브 스튜디오 (PRUNAE Creative Studio), 가베 플러스 (Gabe Plus)가 하나씩의 스테이션을 운영할 계획으로 내용면에서 전에 없이 풍성한 행사가 될 것으로 자부한다.
