제80주년 광복절 기념 ‘태극기’ 전시 개최 문화원 박물관 소장 유물 태극기 2점 첫 전시 시카고한인문화원 갤러리에서 8월 9일부터 20일까지 특별 전시 August 8-20 시카고한인문화원 (이하 문화원)이 제80주년 광복절을 맞아 태극기 전시회를 개최하였다. 전시에는 문화원 박물관이 소장하고 있는 100여년의 역사를 지닌 정사각형 태극기와 정보람 명예 총영사가 기증한 70년의 역사를 지닌 태극기가 처음으로 전시되었고, 한국 독립기념관이 제작한 태극기 교육 박스와 함께 관람객에게 교육의 기회를 제공하였다. 본 전시는 재외동포청이 후원하였다. KCCoC Golf Outing
The Korean Cultural Center of Chicago (KCCoC) held a successful fundraising golf tournament at Crane’s Landing Golf Club in Lincolnshire, despite the sweltering heat approaching 100°F. The event drew 90 participants and raised significant funds through donations and hole sponsorships. Proceeds from the tournament will support the Center’s mission to promote and advance Korean culture and the arts. Following the tournament, a dinner and awards ceremony took place at the KCCoC’s BISCO Hall.
