KCCoC Golf Outing

The Korean Cultural Center of Chicago (KCCoC) held a successful fundraising golf tournament at Crane’s Landing Golf Club in Lincolnshire, despite the sweltering heat approaching 100°F. The event drew 90 participants and raised significant funds through donations and hole sponsorships. Proceeds from the tournament will support the Center’s mission to promote and advance Korean culture and the arts. 동대문 구청장 문화원 방문 The Mayor of Dongdaemun District in Korea, along with five other officials, visited the Korean Cultural Center of Chicago (KCCoC) and held a meeting to explore potential collaborative projects. This meeting was organized as part of Dongdaemun District’s efforts to seek new directions for development in the areas of culture, tourism, and public libraries. 태프트 고등학교 필드트립 Jun. 3 Taft High School students visited the KCCoC for a field trip and took the opportunity to try on hanbok and different types of hats and head pieces at BISCO Hall. They explored the ‘Symbolism’, a museum exhibition and the Pachappa Camp exhibition.
