시카고 한인이민사 타임라인 An exhibition of the Chicago Korean American Immigration Timeline with milestone dates and events is currently on display at the Cultural Center Museum. In 2020, Chicago journalist, Kwang Dong Jo compiled 20 timeline boards per era to help viewers see monumental events in Chicago, as well as the United States. 시카고 한인이민사를 대표적인 연대와 사건으로 정리한 타임라인이 문화회관 박물관에 전시되었다. 2020년에 시카고 언론인 조광동씨가 정리한 20개의 시대별 보드에 동시대 미국 전체와 시카고의 기념비적인 사건을 추가하여 보는 이들에게 이해를 돕도록 하였다.

문화회관 도서관 To promote the KCCoC library to more Chicagoland residents, six library volunteers, including the library director, work in shifts every day. Various Korean books are available, including classics, series, religion, philosophy, cooking, children’s books, as well as bestsellers. If you need help to check out a book, please visit during the hours when volunteers are in person (Monday-Friday 1pm-5pm, Saturday 10am-3pm). Busan Jung and Hyeobmun Project

부산정 & 협문 프로젝트 June 4 부산시가 1억5천만 원을 지원하여 문화회관의 부산정과 협문 프로젝트가 완공되었다. 2012년에 완공된 부산정에 계자난간과 마루가 설치되고 단청 복원 작업이 진행되었다. 그리고 꽃담 사이에 협문이 세워져 문화회관을 상징하는 또 하나의 건축물이 탄생되었다. The Busan Metropolitan City supported the Busan Jung, helping complete the Hyeobmun project. Busan Jung was completed in 2012, and it was later renovated with Gyeja Nan-gan and an elevated floor in restoration work. In addition, Hyeobmun installed between Ggot Dham (flower walls), and it now symbolizes the KCCoC.

Korean Cultural Center of Chicago New Brand Logo Contest

시카고한인문화원 브랜드 로고 공모전   The Korean Cultural Center of Chicago, with the approval by the Board of Directors, announced to change its official Korean name, including the current logo. The English name will remain the same. The use of the new Korean name will begin with the Grand Opening of Bisco Hall. A new brand logo contest is currently being held (Deadline: July 14th).
