<한국의 기독교와 민주화운동의 역사> 강사 : 황인구 박사 (시카고 대학, Ph. D.) <문화회관 특강 초대의 글> 한국사회의 민주화는 오랜 시간 많은 사람들의 헌신과 고통으로 이뤄낸 것입니다. 그 역사에서 기독교의 역할을 매우 컸습니다. 한국의 기독교가 인권과과 정의를 위해 노력한 역사는 한국교회 역사의 중요한 부분이기도 합니다. 이번 가을 그 역사를 함께 생각할 수 있는 강연의 자리를 마련했습니다. 강사는 시카고 대학에서 역사학으로 박사학위를 받은 황인구 박사입니다. 황박사는 특히 1970년대 한국 개신교의 인권운동이 어떻게 시작되었고 또 세계적인 인권운동과 어떻게 함께 했는지를 연구한 학자입니다. 이 강연은 한국기독교 연구소와 한미역사학회가 공동으로 주관을 하고 시카고 문화회관의 후원으로 이루어집니다. 10월 29일 (목요일) 저녁 7시 문화회관에서 열리는 강연으로 여러분을 초대합니다.

Lisker Music Foundation presents 19 year old South Korean violinist, In Mo Yang, on the heels of receiving 1st Prize at the career-changing 2015 International Paganini Violin Competition in Genoa, Italy.
