Joint Scholarship Ceremony with Artists from SAIC / SAIC 출신 미술가들 & 시카고 한인문화회관 후원 장학금 수여식

On May 20, a scholarship ceremony was held at the Gallery of Korean Cultural Center, sponsored by artists from SAIC and Korean Cultural Center of Chicago. Currently, Korean artists (Inhye Lee, David Huh, Hyeri Won and Yeji Min) selected two art-talented Korean high school students (Lee, Ga-Eun and Han, Hyo-ri) and presented them with a scholarship with Korean Cultural Center. Artists raised funds on May 12 through a pop art show at the Chicago Council Space. On March 27, 25 Korean class students and Korean teacher Seo Yong-Kwon visited the Korean Cultural Center of Chicago. They toured the Cultural Center Museum and showed a lot of interest in Korean traditional goods and later took time to try on hanbok, calligraphy and K-pop dance.
