‘Saekdong Layers’ brings the traditional Korean saekdong-multicolored stripes once used in clothing and ceremonial objects-into a contemporary spatial installation. A sequence of suspended scarves forms a flowing corridor of color, allowing visitors to walk through the work and experience saekdong as a living, layered space.

‘Saekdong Layers’는 전통적으로 의복과 의례용 물품에 사용되던 한국의 색동 문양을 현대적인 공간 설치로 풀어낸 작품이다.

연속적으로 매달린 스카프들은 색의 흐름으로 이루어진 통로를 형성하며, 관람객이 작품 안을 직접 걸으며 색동을 생생하고 겹겹이 쌓인 공간으로 경험하게 한다.
