Mozart in the Morning March Concert 시카고한인문화회관 목요 음악회 시리즈 3월 공연
As live performances are difficult due to the pandemic, the Korean Cultural Center of Chicago will hold Thursday Concert Series, “Mozart in the Morning” through online concert beginning March.
The concert will be delivered to the music lovers on the Korean Cultural Center of Chicago’s Youtube channel on the second Thursday of March, April and May from 11am to 12noon.
March 11th : “Listening to Yun Dong-ju’s poems through a song”
As the first concert of the Spring 2021, March 11th concert will commemorate the March 1st Independence Movement Day by introducing new song pieces using poems by the national poet, Yun Dong-ju and will be performed by Eastern Illinois University Soprano, Julie Jungwha Park.
April 8 : “Korean folk song, its infinite possibilities”
May 13th : “Sanjo, listening to Korean folk music through violin”
This virtual concert will be premiered on the Youtube channel of Korean Cultural Center of Chicago.

“모짜르트 인 더 모닝”, 클래식 악기로 연주되는 한국의 음악
팬데믹으로 라이브 공연이 힘든 요즘, 시카고한인문화회관에서 “모짜르트 인 더 모닝” 목요 음악회 시리즈를 올 3월부터 온라인 공연으로 시작하게 되었다.
3월, 4월, 5월, 매달 둘째 목요일 아침 11시부터 12시까지 시카고한인문화회관 유튜브 채널을 통해 음악애호가들에게 전달될 예정이다.
3월11일: ”윤동주의 시를 노래로 듣다”
2021년 봄 시리즈의 첫 음악회로 삼일절을 기념하는 3/11 음악회에서는 민족시인 윤동주의 대표적인 시들에 곡을 붙인 새로운 한국가곡 작품들이 소개되며, 이스턴 일리노이 대학교의 소프라노 박정화 교수가 연주할 예정이다. 한국인이 가장 사랑하는 시인 윤동주, 불행한 시대에 태어나 문학의 재능을 마음껏 발휘하지 못하고 일본 감옥에서 억울하게 죽어가야만 했던 그의 짧은 생애를 기억하고 그가 남긴 시를 감동적인 가곡 멜로디를 통해 음미해 보면서 자유와 평화, 사랑의 진정한 가치를 생각해 보는 시간이 될 것이다.
4월 8일: “민요를 통해 세상을 읽다”
5월 13일: “바이올린으로 듣는 한국의 민속음악, 산조”
음악회는 시카고한인문화회관 유튜브 채널을 통해 초연될 예정입니다.
