200 Korean people attended the ceremony to inform Korean American and other Koreans about the significance of Korean New Year as a unique holiday and Korean traditional culture.

The Korean Cultural Center and the Women’s Association held a snow feast in the Cultural Center ahead of the New Year’s Day (February 5) on February 2.

The meaning of Lunar New Year was revived through various performances such as performances of the Buddhist Choir and making lanterns, yunori, raising ceremonies, triplets, bags, wearing hanbok, singing songs and eating Korean food.

한인 문화회관과 여성회는 지난 2월2일 설날(5일) 을 앞두고 문화회관에서 설잔치를 개최했다.

불타 합주단의 공연과 청사초롱 만들기, 윷놀이, 제기 차기, 세배, 복 주머니, 한복 입기, 설 노래 부르기, 한식 먹기등 다양한 체험을 통해 설날의 의미를 되새겼다.
