“Growing on Their Own”
The Cultural Center Gallery, which has established itself as a cultural space in Chicago has dedicated this exhibition to support the continuous work of award-winning artists from the New Artist Contest as well as to provide exhibition opportunities to local artists in Chicago and artists overseas in Korea.The artists of the New Artist Contest have various perspectives participating in this exhibition to communicate with the audience by showing their development through their works. In addition, mix of artists and their work in various fields have shown positive influence on each other which has also escalated the quality of this exhibition.
We invite you to this extraordinary exhibition which will start on June 19th with an opening reception at 5pm and will run through August 7th.

시카고한인문화회관 갤러리 기획 전시로 “Growing on Their Own”이 열립니다.
시카고에서 문화공간으로 자리매김 한 문화회관 갤러리가 신인작가공모전을 통해 입상한 작가들의 지속적인 작품활동을 지원하고, 한국과 시카고에서 활동하는 작가들에게 전시 기회를 제공하려는 취지로 기획되었습니다.
이번 전시에 참여한 다양한 시선을 갖고 있는 신인작가 공모전 작가들은 작품을 통해 스스로 발전하고 있음을 보여주며 관객과 소통하고자 합니다. 또한 시카고 지역에서 활동하는 작가들 및 한국에서 활동하는 작가들은 다른 영역의 작가들과의 만남으로 인해, 서로 영향을 주고 받으며 전시의 질을 높였습니다.
오는 6월 19일 오후 5시 오프닝 리셉션을 시작으로 8월 7일까지 전시되는 이번 전시회에 여러분을 초대합니다.
