Girl Scouts visited on Feb 23, 2019
The members of Girl Scout visited Korean Cultural Center of Chicago on Feb 23(Sat) in 2019. Eight girls and two instructors had a fun time looking around the gallery and museum.
They learned how to bow to the eldest in Korean traditional style with wearing Korean costume, Hanbok. Also, they enjoyed the craft time making Cheong-Sa-Cho-Rong (ancient Korean lantern) and learning Hangeul with Korean letter puzzle.
2019년 2월 23일 토요일 시카고 걸스카웃 학생 8명(9살)이 교사 2명들 인솔아래 시카고 한인 문화회관을 방문했다.
이들은 회장 김윤태의 십장생 그림의 설명을 시작으로 박물관에서 한국 전통 물품을 감상하며 투호 놀이, 한복 입어보기, 절하기등을 경험했다. 또한 청사초롱 만들기 (김정연 지도), 한글 글자 맞추기(박순자), 각자 한글 이름써보기 등의 활동시간을 가졌다.
