The Korean Cultural Center of Chicago (KCCoC) BISCO Hall held a successful grand opening ceremony on September 14^th with 350 people in attendance. Leaders of various organizations attended the event. The Korean American Association President, the Consul General, Congressman, President of Wheeling, and various dignitaries were among many in attendance, and plaques of appreciation were presented to Min Sook and Byoung In Suh, Chairman of the BISCO Foundation, and Yoon Tae Kim, President of the KCCoC. After the celebratory performances of Korean traditional dance, choir and classical music, the ceremony concluded with a closing remarks by Kay Kihwa Rho, Executive Director of KCCoC. For all the guests in attendance, including performers and staff were provided with dinner box carefully prepared and wrapped in traditional Korean wrapping cloth (bojagi).

시카고한인문화원 (이하 문화원) 비스코 홀이 지난 9월 14일에 개관 기념식을 열어 350여 명이 참석한 가운데 성황리에 마쳤다. 행사에는 여러 기관 단체장을 비롯하여 한인회장, 총영사, 하원의원, 윌링 시장, 각계 인사들이 참석하였고, 서민숙, 서병인 비스코 재단 회장과 김윤태 문화원 회장에서 감사패가 주어졌다. 이어 한국무용과 합창, 클래식 연주 등으로 축하공연이 이어진 후, 최기화 문화원 사무총장의 폐회사로 식을 마쳤다. 문화원은 이날 행사에 참석한 모든 귀빈들과 연주자들 및 스텝들에게 한국의 전통 보자기로 포장된 디너 박스를 준비하였다.
