Asian Pop-up Cinema ‘Go Back’

Korean Cultural Center of Chicago in partnership with Asian Pop-up Cinema jointly prepared a Korean movie screening which was held at the Event Hall 1 of the Cultural Center. About 30 spectators who received free tickets through pre-registration attended the viewing of the movie “Go Back”, which is one of the films prepared for the Korean Cinema Showcase. The Cultural Center provided a simple lunch for everyone.
The movie deals with the uncomfortable issue of child abuse, but focuses on being on these children’s side with an honest and sincere approach and attitude. The next film screening is scheduled for spring 2022.
시카고한인문화회관과 파트너 쉽을 가지고 있는 Asian Pop-up Cinema가 공동으로 준비한 한국 영화 상영회가 문화회관 행사장 1번에서 있었다. Korean Cinema Showcase로 준비된 영화 중 한 영화인 ‘고백’ 관람에 사전등록으로 무료관람 티겟을 받은 30여명의 관객이 참여하였으며, 문화회관은 준비한 간단한 점심을 제공하였다.
영화 `고백`은 아동학대라는 마음 아픈 문제를 다루었지만, 진정성 있는 태도로 아이들의 편이 되어줄 것을 진솔하게 이야기하며 깊은 여운을 담겼다. 다음 영화 상영은 2022년 봄으로 예정되어 있다.
