This exhibition highlights the creative talents of AP Art students from Arrowhead Union High School in Hartland, Wisconsin, who have crafted artworks inspired by sijo. The featured sijo are award-winning pieces from the Sejong Writing Competition, Sejong International Sijo Competition, and Wisconsin Sijo Competition.

The exhibition celebrates the elegance of sijo written in English, harmonized with the artistic interpretations of these talented students. Sijo, a traditional form of Korean poetry with a history of over a thousand years, continues to captivate audiences worldwide. Through the Sejong Cultural Society’s initiatives, English sijo is gaining recognition and appreciation across the globe.

이 전시는 위스콘신주 하틀랜드에 위치한 애로우헤드 유니온 고등학교(AP Art) 학생들이 시조에서 영감을 받아 제작한 작품들입니다. 전시된 시조는 세종 작문경연대회, 세종 국제 시조 대회, 위스콘신 시조 대회에서 수상한 영어시조 작품들입니다. 천 년의 역사를 가진 한국의 전통 시 형식인 시조는 전 세계의 시인들을 매료시키고 있으며 세종문화회의 다양한 프로그램을 통해 전 세계적으로 점점 더 많은 인정을 받고 있습니다.
