Navigating Duality: Symbolism and Identity in Korean American Art
Sep. 4-18
KCCoC Gallery presented the invitational exhibition ‘Navigating Duality: Symbolism and Identity in Korean American Art”. This exhibition featured the work of Korean American artists in Chicago who explore the complexities of dual cultural identities. Through symbolic representations-ranging from traditional Korean motifs to contemporary reinterpretations and American cultural icons-these artists conveyed personal narratives of heritage, identity, alienation, and belonging.
