The contest is open for pre-school through high school and ends on October 17th.

Grand Prize: $1,000
Awarded by the Steve Kang Young Scholars & Artists Fund

First Prize: $500
Awarded by the KCCOC Next Generation Board

Second Prize: $200 each for 2 artists
Awarded by the KCCOC Next Generation Board

Work Specification :
14″ X 17″ (Kindergarten – 3rd Grade), 18″ X 24″ (4th Grade – 12th Grade)

Fee :
$10 per person (commemorative T-shirt presented to the participants)

Students, if you send your Check or Money Order by mail, please address it to KCCOC. You may also bring the fee directly to the cultural center Monday – Friday, 9AM – 5PM.

Submission :
We will receive direct submissions from the Chicago are until October 17th at the Korean Cultural Center. Those residing in other states or long distance, please send your entries by mail. Please keep the date in mind.

When sending your artwork in the mail, please make sure it is packaged well so that it will not bend or be damaged. If you are mailing from out of state, please include return postage.

On the flip side of your artwork, please include (in English or Hangul), art work title, address, phone numbers (home, cell phone of parents), parents E-mail, name of school, grade, etc.
